Rome Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer from the airport to the Hotel Forum and enjoy a free afternoon until we meet for dinner

Day 2

View the main highlights of the city of Rome on a 4 hour privately guided & driven tour. See the Coliseum, Fori Imperiali, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Step, Piazza del Popolo and end the day with a panoramic drive around the city and along the river. You'll have free time to relax before dinner.

Day 3

Meet your guide and drivers at the reception and transfer to the Vatican Museum entrance, the visit will last about 3 hours and includes: Vatican Museum (Sistine Chapel), Vatican Basilica (Michelangelo's Pieta) and Vatican Square. At the end of the walking tour clients will be dropped by the guide in the area of the Vatican Squire and can have a free afternoon. Or you can choose to book a transfer back to the hotel.

Day 4

After breakfast we head to Tuscany by private transport to check into our Villa in the Chianti countryside.

Tuscany Itinerary

Day 4

Arrive at the villa in Chianti around noon. You might choose to have a massage. Explore the estate or take the Vineyard and Olive Grove tour with Donato, our villa estate wine expert. This evening is a Prosecco party, orientation and dinner created by Chef Mauro.

Day 5

Enjoy a cooking class with an authentic Tuscan four-course meal. It includes a hot appetizer, such as stuffed zucchini flowers. You'll also create two fresh pastas with local sauces, an entrée with a side dish and a tasty dessert. This is served with plenty of local wine. Learn cooking techniques and recipes to wow your friends and family at home.

Day 6

The city of Florence is on stage. Enjoy a guided walking tour Medicis ruled hundreds of years ago. After free time, head to a winery for dinner and a wine tasting and pairing class. This includes 8 regional varieties and Super Tuscans.

Day 7

The Leaning Tower of Pisa and Andrea Bocelli"s Private Museum are on the schedule. In the Piazza Dei Miracoli area we will visit the Cathedral and Baptistery on an educational walking tour. We will later meet some of the Bocelli family at their private museum followed by a wine tasting on site. The night ends with a dinner at the villa by Chef Mauro.

Day 8

Enjoy a guided walking tour of Lucca with additional time to explore the medieval walled city. Our special dinner is at St. Maria A Monte at Ambra Nera restaurant followed by gelato tasting. Later, Donato will be available for desired tours and tastings

Day 9

San Gimignano, the famous medieval city, will be our focus. After a guided walking tour, you will be free to visit the cathedral or perhaps choose an art gallery to explore. This is a great place to buy artisan made souvenirs and to taste the award-winning gelato. Live music will accompany our chef's dinner at our villa this evening.

Day 10

Following breakfast and check-out, guests will either depart with our arranged transportation, or continue on the extension trip to Venice

What's Next

The official tour has ended for this trip but that doesn't mean your time in Italy needs to end.  We have worked with our tour provider to create an extension that continues your trip onto Venice.  Click for the Parma & Venice Add-On details.
